About Me

 So this journey is learning about me, and I'm taking it with you...  but here's what I know today :)


I'm Melinda, I'm a mother of 5 and a grandma of 7.  I was widowed at 30 and raised my children alone from then on.  Life took me a lot of different directions, and thankfully, I was able to care for my children during this time.  However, I paid a price.  

I wouldn't trade the journey for anything, but today, my journey needs to focus on me.  I need to heal me.  My kids and grandkids deserve a mother/grandmother that is happy and loving and caring.

 Today...  I write.   No more procrastination.  No more excuses.  No more I will do it laters. Today...  I write.
